Jenni grew up in Namibia, on a small farm just outside the capital, Windhoek, and attended St Paul's College there, matriculating in 2007. She spent a gap year in Europe before coming to do a BSc at UCT. She graduated in December last year with a BSc in Ecology and Marine Biology. This year she is doing BSc(Hons) in Zoology. Her honours project is investigating the link between temperature and nesting behaviour in the Bank Cormorant Phalacrocorax neglectus, with fieldwork concentrating on the colony at the harbour on Robben Island.
Jenni's interests include travelling, camping, hiking and visiting the less well known corners of Namibia. She has discovered diving since coming to Cape Town.
